Gita di un giorno da Marrakech a Essaouira

A day trip from Marrakech to Essaouira is one of the most popular excursions in Morocco, offering a refreshing escape from the busy inland city to the relaxed Atlantic coast.

🌊 Overview of the Trip

The journey takes about 2.5 to 3 hours each way (roughly 190 km), typically by car, bus, or organized tour. Along the route, you’ll pass through scenic countryside dotted with argan trees—sometimes even spotted with goats climbing them, a unique local sight!

🏝️ About Essaouira

Essaouira is a charming coastal town known for its:

  • Historic medina (a UNESCO World Heritage Site)

  • Strong Atlantic winds (making it a hotspot for windsurfing and kitesurfing)

📍 Key Highlights

1. The Medina
A maze of white-and-blue streets filled with artisan shops, galleries, and cafés. It’s smaller and less hectic than Marrakech’s medina.
