End: Drop-off at your accommodation in Fez in the evening (around 6:00 – 7:00 PM).
Itineraries
Day 1
Marrakech - High Atlas - Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou - Dades Valley
Pick-up from your hotel or riad in Marrakech, departure towards the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the Tizi n'Tichka pass at 2,260 meters altitude, with stops to enjoy spectacular panoramic views. We will visit an Argan cooperative, where we will discover the production process and learn about its numerous health benefits.
We will continue our journey to the village of Ait Ben Haddou (a UNESCO World Heritage Site). This spectacular setting has been the filming location for renowned movies such as Gladiator, The Jewel of the Nile, and Sahara.
Lunch will be in the village, and we will continue our journey towards Ouarzazate, the gateway to the desert. We will then proceed to the Valley of Roses, passing through the Skoura Palm Grove and arriving at the Dades Valley.
Day 2
Dades Valley - Todra Gorge - Merzouga Dunes (Desert)
After breakfast, we'll travel to Merzouga. We'll ascend a path to observe the gorges from a strategic mountain viewpoint, then continue along a road dotted with beautiful Kasbahs, each one unique. After several stops, we'll arrive at one of the highlights of the south: the Todra Gorge (300 m).
The Todra River has carved a gorge with towering, vertical walls of immense beauty, a paradise for climbers and a truly unique place. We'll have lunch there and then continue into the desert to reach the impressive Merzouga Dunes, where we'll enjoy an evening tea while we rest. We'll leave our luggage at the guesthouse and depart in a camel caravan, which will take us to the Berber tent camp in about an hour.
We'll stop along the way to watch the sunset over the dunes and stretch our legs before continuing to the camp. Before dinner, we'll have the opportunity to climb the dunes near the camp and enjoy some tea, taking in the peace and quiet. We'll spend the night in a traditional Berber tent under the stars.(An unforgettable night).
Day 3
Merzouga - Erfoud - Ziz Valley - Azrou - Ifrane - Fez
After breakfast, on the return from the desert, departure towards Fez, through the largest valley in southern Morocco, the famous cedar forest of the High Atlas Mountains, where several types of monkeys live, arrival in Azrou, an important center of handicrafts (specializing in cedar woodworking), the charming town of Ifrane, Imouzar el Kandar, arrival in Fez, and end of the service. Have a good trip.
