Itineraries
Day 1
Fes – Medelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga
Departure for Merzouga, passing through Ifrane, the Switzerland of Morocco. We'll travel through the cedar forest, where we'll stop to enjoy the sight of monkeys climbing the hills. Then we'll continue through the Middle Atlas Mountains to the Ziz Valley.
Afterward, we'll go to the city of Erfoud, famous as the fossil capital. In the afternoon, we'll mount camels for a splendid night in the middle of the dunes, sleeping in a traditional Berber tent.
Day 2
Merzouga – Rissani – The Todra Gorges – Dades Valley
Today, we'll wake up early to watch the sunrise from a large dune, then shower and have breakfast. Afterward, we'll travel to the Dades Valley, passing through the city of Rissani where we'll stop briefly to visit its traditional market, considered the largest in southern Morocco. Then we'll continue to the Todra Gorge before arriving in the Dades Valley. We'll spend the night in a hotel.
Day 3
Dades Valley – Rose Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech.
After breakfast, we'll travel through the Valley of Roses and Sakoura. Then we'll visit the famous fortified Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, on the banks of the Ounila River. Many films, such as Babel, Gladiator, and Aladdin, have been filmed there.
Afterward, we'll have lunch and cross the High Atlas Mountains to reach Marrakech. Our tour will conclude with a transfer to the airport or your hotel.
