This extended itinerary allows for more stops along the route, including the lush Ziz Valley, dramatic canyons like Todra Gorge, and the stunning Dades Valley.

Itineraries

Day 1

Fez – Medelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga

We'll depart from Fes towards the Middle Atlas Mountains to visit Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Africa. There, we'll explore the Berber village of Azrou, meaning "the rock," before arriving in Midelt. We'll continue our journey through the Tizi Talghemt pass, also known as the Camel's Neck, where we'll see stunning landscapes with mountains reaching 1,907 meters in altitude. From there, we'll reach Errachidia to experience the crossing of the Tafilalet massif to the Erfoud palm grove. We'll continue along the road until we reach the incredible fine sand dunes of Erg Chebbi near Merzouga. Tonight, we'll stay in a hotel near the dunes.

Day 2

Merzouga – Erg Chebbi – Merzouga

After breakfast, we'll travel along one of the routes used in the Paris-Dakar Rally, visiting desert nomads who will offer us a traditional tea. There, we'll see the oasis where films like "Sahara" and "Aladdin," among others, were filmed. We'll visit the village of "Los Negros," so named because of the slave trade that brought people from Sudan.

After lunch, we'll mount our desert vehicle: camels. They will take us deeper into the desert to witness a magnificent sunset. This night will be unique, as we'll stay in traditional Berber tents, where we can enjoy music and a dazzling starry sky.

Day 3

Merzouga – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

This day we will wake up early to witness the radiant sunrise in the desert after breakfast. Then we will depart for Rissani to visit its market, where all the desert nomads go to stock up on supplies. Next, we will leave for Erfoud, where we will visit a fossilized marble factory. Afterward, we will continue our journey to the palm groves of Touroug and Tinjdad.

We will then arrive at the breathtaking Todra Gorge. The Todra River has carved out immense vertical walls and stunning views; this place is a paradise for climbers. We will have lunch there and take a walk to appreciate the tranquility of the gorge. In the afternoon, we will travel to the Dades Valley, passing through Boumalne. We will have dinner and spend the night in the Dades Valley.

Day 4

Dades – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas – Marrakech

After breakfast, we'll explore the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, where numerous films such as "Lawrence of Arabia," "Babel," and "Gladiator" have been filmed. Then, we'll travel to Marrakech over the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka pass. Along the way, we'll see Berber villages and farms. We'll arrive in Marrakech, and our service will conclude.
